Singer, drummer, bass & guitar... usually this is an inital set enough to create a good rock band. In college, i was the fifth member of the group : the one who does not sing or perform any instrument but would do anything to make his buddies successful with their band, gather crowd at their concert and be listened to. |
This is exactly in this spirit that i have imagined SoundTribes, a project i am in charge of. With a team of both musicians & music lovers, it's a common passion for music that all drives us in this adventure... and you can expect a lot more surprises from us coming soon.
Music is for me the everyday intense experience of Ipod+Itrip in my home to work commuting by car. It's also a kind of pride of having discovered "unknow small bands" in some obscure gigs & festivals like Daran, Radiohead, Archive, Muse, Emiliana Torrini, Ghinzu, Soulwax, Venus, Mickey 3D... giving out all their guts in 3 songs, sometimes as an opening act.
One of the next breakout bands might already be today on SoundTribes, who knows?
